Upcoming Changes

There are no changes scheduled at the present time.

All Programs have been re-organized to follow the ISO-3166-2 standard.

In the following weeks, we will:

• “re-math” all the data. This means that we have to rebuild all the
  statistics and metrics for all QSOs to resolve some issues with the numbers.
• Create a report for each program with some details on all the changes.
• Regenerate awards to match the proper statistics and new Program names, Location codes, etc.

We will document more on these initiatives in the near future.

Also, we still have a number of follow-up issues to address, SOME of these issues include:

• GB Great Britain... uses a THREE level system in ISO-3166-2, but we only support a TWO level system. A few other countries also do this (eg: IE Ireland, ES Spain), but it doesn’t appear to have the same level of impact there. We are continuing to evaluate how we can deal with this.
• DX Entities which are “orphans” in the system. This means they aren’t currently and/or properly linked to the right Program. Most of these are super rare and/or don’t have any parks in them yet, etc.
